These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Caston mobile application, website and related services. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Purpose of Caston
Caston is a digital casting and talent discovery platform designed to enable actors and aspiring actors to present themselves to professionals in entertainment, media, advertising, film, television and content production. Caston is not an acting agency, talent agency, employer, producer or casting director.
2. Candidate Membership
Actors and aspiring actors may create profiles on the Platform. Users represent that information provided is accurate, current and relates to themselves or, where applicable, a minor for whom they have legal authority to act. Impersonation, materially misleading information and unauthorized content are prohibited.
3. Child and Baby Profiles
Profiles may be created for child and baby acting candidates. To the extent required by applicable law, an account or profile for a minor must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who represents that they have legal authority to act on behalf of the minor.
4. Professional Users
Candidate profiles are not publicly accessible. Access is restricted to industry professionals provided with login credentials or authorization by Caston. Professional users must not share credentials and may use candidate information only for legitimate casting and directly related professional purposes.
5. Contact Between Candidates and Professional Users
Professional users may contact candidates directly using contact information voluntarily provided through a candidate profile. Communications, auditions, meetings, offers, negotiations, agreements, employment arrangements and compensation arrangements take place independently of Caston. Caston is not a party to such relationships.

6. No Guarantee of Work or Casting
Membership does not guarantee employment, an audition invitation, selection for a project, contact from a professional user, any minimum number of profile views or professional success. Caston provides technological infrastructure intended to facilitate talent discovery.
7. Membership Fees and Subscriptions
Candidate membership may require payment and may be offered as an annual subscription. The applicable price is the price displayed through the relevant app store at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
8. Automatic Renewal and Cancellation
Unless otherwise stated at purchase, annual subscriptions may automatically renew through the applicable app store. Users who do not wish to renew must cancel through their Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation generally does not terminate access during an already-paid period and prevents renewal for the next period. Mandatory consumer and app-store rights remain unaffected.
9. Refunds
Refund requests are subject to applicable Apple App Store or Google Play rules and consumer protection laws. Except where required by law or app-store rules, cancellation does not automatically entitle a user to a full or partial refund for an already-used subscription period.
10. User Content
Users retain ownership of photographs, videos, text, profile information and other content they upload. By uploading User Content, users represent that they have the necessary rights and grant Caston a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, technically reproduce, format, transmit and display it solely for the purposes of providing the Caston service.
11. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
- Create fraudulent or fake accounts or impersonate another person
- Use another person's photographs or videos without authorization
- Provide materially false or misleading information
- Harass, threaten or exploit others
- Upload unlawful or rights-infringing content
- Engage in conduct that threatens the safety or welfare of minors
- Attempt to bypass Platform security or gain unauthorized access
- Scrape, crawl or automatically collect information
- Create independent databases using Caston candidate information
- Use Caston for fraudulent or unlawful purposes

12. Child Safety
Information concerning child and baby candidates may only be used for legitimate casting and professional evaluation purposes. Inappropriate, exploitative or unauthorized use is prohibited. Caston may immediately suspend or terminate relevant access and may report matters to competent authorities where required or appropriate.
13. Limitation of Caston's Role and Liability
Caston does not continuously supervise all users or communications outside the Platform and does not guarantee the accuracy of every offer, that a particular project will proceed, payment or contractual performance, or that any candidate will be selected. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Intellectual Property
The Caston name, logo, software, interface, design, database structure and original materials are owned by Caston or applicable rights holders. Users receive only a limited right to access and use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.
15. Suspension and Termination
Caston may suspend or terminate an account where there is a reasonable basis to believe these Terms have been violated, a fraudulent account exists, Platform security is compromised, a child safety risk exists, another person's rights have been violated or the Platform is being used unlawfully.
16. Account Deletion
Candidate users may request deletion of their Caston account at any time through account settings or other methods made available by Caston. Deleting a Caston account may not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
17. Platform Changes and Availability
Caston may improve, modify, replace or discontinue particular features and introduce new features. Where a change materially affects user rights or paid services, Caston will act in accordance with applicable law.
18. Privacy
Processing of personal data is described in the Caston Privacy Policy and relevant privacy notices.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. For disputes that do not constitute consumer transactions, the Istanbul Anatolian Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.

20. Changes to these Terms
Caston may update these Terms due to legal, technical, operational or commercial developments. Where changes materially affect users, notice may be provided through appropriate means.
